AAron Roark and Alex Gaddy knocked this one out of the park.It had humor,action,suspense,magic and or supernatural powers a perfect recipe for a great story.
My only problem with the book is I just could not put it down. I could almost see myself in Elsbeck as
I went on this wonderful journey with Jacob and Marya. If you are looking for a fun story from beginning to end look no further. I can not wait for the second book,so I ask AAron & Alex not to make us wait long.

I don't normally read fiction but this story line about heroes, villians, power struggles etc., just keeps me riveted and anticipating more.
Truly an exciting tale, crafted by two masters of imagination and imagery. Not for the faint of heart, the story has plenty of action, and much of it is...well, messy! Not messy for the sake of messy, or action for the sake of action, though. They're deftly woven into the book's rich tapestry of vivid characters, cultures, creatures and connivings - and some very cleverly conceived other-worldly powers, to boot. Enjoy!
This was a fantastic romp through misery, mayhem, and fantasy! So much so that when I reached the unexpected "The End", my cry of Nooooooo could be heard for half a block.
This book caught my eye from the cover art. I was not disappointed.. This book was a page turner. I
am looking forward to a sequel. Love to add new authors to my favorites list. This is a must read if you like exciting paranormal books!!
